#1 Daily Prayers Detailed description of activity KIC arranges facilities for Muslim congregants to perform their 5 Daily Prayers Fajr Prayer (Dawn to sunrise) Duhr Prayer Mid day Asr Prayer Maghreb Isha Prayer KIC produces as prayer timetable annually customized to the location of the community The prayers times and updates are published on the KIC website and updates are also communicated via KIC's whatsApp group. #2 Friday Congregational Prayer Detailed description of activity KIC's provides Friday Prayer services for the Muslim community. This service is performed every Friday in place of Zuhr prayer ormid day prayer. The Friday prayer sermon consists of two parts with a short pause in between the two sermons to allow the worshipers to say a du'a (prayer) Followed by a prayer in congregation. The Topics of the Friday sermon include spirituality social responsibility significant Islamic events /observances and Islamic culture. #3 Name of Activity Eid Prayers Detailed description of activity KIC will make arrangements for 2 special Eids prayer events which are held each year to observe/ celebrate the Islamic occasions of Eid Alfitr (at the end of Ramadan) and Eid aludha (at the end of the Hajj) As with other prayers these will also be led by volunteers selected by the Board of Directors including Ayman Faddah Eid prayers are held at the KIC location or at a rented facility such as a community center private Hall or at a public park (weather permitting). #4 Name of Activity Ramadan Taraweeh Prayers Detailed description of activity KIC will make arrangements for special additional evening prayers after the Isha prayers during the Islamic month of Ramadan during which the Quran is recited in consecutive parts each night. Taraweeh prayer also includes a break in between prayers to deliver a small sermon or lecture on topics related to spirituality Islamic faith doctrine and observances. Similar to other prayer services these will also be led by qualified volunteers or paid guest Imams selected by the Board of Directors.
