Housing Support Program Program Description: This program advances the Islamic faith by fulfilling the religious obligation of Zakat and encouraging Sadaqah (voluntary charity) as taught in the Qur’an and Sunnah. Through this program the organization: Educates the Muslim community about the religious importance of supporting the poor and vulnerable through Zakat and Sadaqah. Collects and distributes religious charitable funds to eligible recipients in accordance with Islamic guidelines including but not limited to rent assistance basic living needs and emergency relief. Promotes the religious duty of compassion and care as an expression of Islamic values by ensuring funds are distributed justly and ethically under the guidance of Islamic scholars. Strengthens spiritual connection among donors and recipients by linking charitable action with core religious teachings. This program is offered as part of our mission to practice and promote Islamic charitable obligations and is carried out by volunteers and staff who are motivated by their religious beliefs to serve those in need.
