SINCE WE ONLY RECEIVED CHARITABLE STATUS ON FEBRUARY 6 2024 VANCOUVER CHRISTIAN SCHOOL WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE TRIP JAN 20-28/2024 WITH 17 HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS AND 2 ADULT LEADERS. THE PLANNED MEN'S TRIP IN MAY 2024 WAS CANCELED AS WELL PENDING CHARITABLE STATUS. WE PLANNED AND RECEIVED FUNDS FOR THE INTER-CULTURAL LEARNING TRIP FOR 19 HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS AND 2 ADULTS FROM VANCOUVER CHRISTIAN SCHOOL TO COLONIA LIBERTAD COSTA RICA. TRIP DATES: JAN 18-28 2025.

LAUNCHED A CAMPAIGN TO RAISE FUNDS TO PURCHASE PROPERTY IN COLONIA LIBERTAD TO ESTABLISH A PERMANENT PRESENCE IN THIS FARMING COMMUNITY. WE WANT TO BUILD A CENTRE WHERE CHILDREN YOUTH AND ADULTS CAN GROW IN THEIR FAITH BY STUDYING THE BIBLE LEARN NEW SKILLS TO INCREASE INCOME AND BUILD RELATIONSHIPS WITH COMMUNITY SOCIAL EVENTS.
