On going programs include; Mental Health Programming Community Reach Out During every Thursday from 1:00pm-3:00pm basic needs resources and therapeutic conversation are offered. Advocacy and Referral Providing connection to resources and relevant supports in the community. Mental Health Check-Ins A 30-minute debrief about the state of your mental health and how we can support your needs. Craft and Creation Corner A 60-minute session of open or guided craft with a focus on techniques and activities that allow for emotional expression and creativity. Basic Needs Bag A bag of basic need items including hygiene and dental products. Self-Care Kits A kit that promotes well-being through self-care Community Programming Community Clean-ups Community members and volunteers get together to clean the streets of East London. Talk N Taco Tuesday A free community meal that focuses on healthy therapeutic conversation. Youth Group Free activities for youth and guardians. Happy and Healthy Hearts A public group that promotes wellness and provides advice on healthy coping skills. Secret Santa Gift Drive Gifts for youth are collected and distributed to the youth in challenging situations. Each gift is professionally wrapped and labelled from Santa with an individualized Christmas card. Helping Hats Winter hats that are filled with basic needs and treats which are then shared with fellow organizations and distributed during community reach out. TIF Gift Basket Giveaway For anyone going through a hard time they are eligible to win a free personalized gift basket. Food-Based Programming Our food-based programming strives to provide food security among those in need. Having access to lack of food and other basic needs creates a negative impact on our mental health. We do our best to help alleviate that impact. Emergency Food Bags 5-7 meals based on available stock Breakfast Program Pre-made breakfast bag to go consisting of three breakfast items such as a muffin fruit cup and juice. Available during morning operating hours. Full Bellies Full Brains Food Prep Program For toddlers and guardians to explore fun and affordable recipes.
