Ongoing programs

Lyon's Brook & Area WI meets at the Hall on a regular basis. T The Lyon's Brook United Church continued to hold services and held a yard sale and variety show. All members of the community were invited to participate. West Pictou Wildlife continued their monthly meetings. Numerous birthday parties and family gatherings were also held at the Hall. The very popular card parties continued each Friday night providing entertainment and social time for seniors. The Lobster Take out was planned and delivered by eight volunteers. Two Lunch and Learn sessions were held as well as a public information session on fraud. Also the neighbouring church held an evening session at the Hall on geneology.
