Fostering Hope Animal Rescue Foundation

To promote the welfare of animals for the benefit of the public by spaying or neutering feral or stray animals and rehabilitating them to be re-homed or returning them to their community and reducing the unwanted population (e.g. barn cats) that could be a danger and/or nuisance to the public throughout Alberta. To promote the welfare of the animals for the benefit of the public by rescuing stray abandoned abused or surrendered animals; and operating an animal shelter and adoption program across Alberta with the assistance of volunteers and foster homes. To assist in First Nations communities with stray injured abandoned and unwanted animal population through educating members on responsible animal ownership taking in surrendered animals to receive veterinary care and operating an animal adoption program with these animals once rehabilitated across Alberta. Spay and Neuter Assistance Program - To assist in communities where access to vet care is limited to spay or neuter animals and return them to their community to reduce the amount of breeding. Animals are also vaccinated dewormed and left with some sort of identification (tattoo/microchip).
