PEER SUPPORT OUTREACH - THE PEER SUPPORT OUTREACH PROGRAM PROVIDES VETERANS PARTICULARLY ONES WHO HAVE DIFFICULTIES LEAVING THEIR HOMES WITH SOMEONE TO CHECK IN ON THEM AND MAKE SURE THEY DO NOT FEEL FORGOTTEN. THIS PROGRAM HAS BECOME VERY IMPORTANT THROUGH THE COVID PANDEMIC AS MANY VETERANS HAVE LOST THEIR SOCIAL CONNECTIONS AND/OR HAVE HAD MENTAL HEALTH CONDITIONS WORSENED BY THEY IMPOSED ISOLATION. THIS PROGRAM ALSO HELPS FACILITATE TRANSPORTATION TO MEDICAL APPOINTMENTS ASSISTANCE WITH HOUSEHOLD UPKEEP SUPPORT WITH VAC CLAIMS AND ACCESS TO A FELLOW BROTHER/SISTER IN ARMS. PET CARE PROMISE - THE PET CARE PROMISE PROGRAM PROVIDES ASSISTANCE TO VETERANS WITH PETS AND SERVICE ANIMALS. THE PROGRAM ENSURES THAT EACH PET RECEIVES BASIC CARE (FOOD SHOTS GROOMING).
