Regular Sunday Meetings Midweek Prayer Meetings and Bible Studies Various Seminars: Health Seminars (3 times) Financial Seminar (2 times) Special programs e.g. Evening with the King Celebration of the different countries e.g Ghana South AFrica United States of America Jamiaca etc. represented in the church. Their independence month was declared and their independence day was celebrated with special programs in the church on chosen Sundays to celebrate the countries. For instance July was set aside for the Americans. Special Young Adult Sunday to highlight issues and challenges with relationships leadership and finance. This program is also held to allow the young adults to experience leadership as they are made to organize the entire activity of the church for that week. To introduce the young adults to leadership in the church they were encouraged to begin to manage the early part of Sunday service Christian Marital Counseling to Intending Couples Support to New Immigrants to Canada Spousal advice to couples with various domestic challenges Continued visitation to orphanages and widows - Food clothes money and used electronics were distributed. The ministers increased their midweek prayer meetings Volunteer hours increased to 7280 hours with 25 volunteers We get help from other charities to give temporary shelter to our new immigrants. One of those charities is Ruth's House in Calgary. All our annual programs were held this year because we have settled at our new location.

We hope to increase our visitations to orphanages and widows in 2024 and also do more visitations to some other charities like the homeless shelters in Calgary since we would have settled at our new location and have a better grip on our finances. We have moved to a bigger location so we will be able to take care of the little ones amongst us. We realize that many immigrants are coming into Calgary both from outside the country and within the country. Our newly acquired location will be of great help to receive and help to settle them into their new places. We have a fairly big church hall with spare rooms. We intend to join the immigrants' welcome team in the province. Our challenge however is that we do not know exactly how to register for this. We would be glad if someone could help us with this. We are looking for means of increasing the finances of the charity so we can help more registered charities With the upsurge of young adults in the church it became necessary to have an in-house wedding team to manage the church's weddings. In addition to that we want to start a new family counseling class to let new couples know what to expect in marriage. This will be legal social and spiritual. We would invite some legal experts to come and discuss with them. Our couples program did not operate too well last year because of our financial handicap. However we were able to settle socially challenging issues with many couples. All our annual programs will continue as scheduled. More people are donating used clothes and electronics to the church. These items we take to developing countries. The challenge we have is the cost of freight.
