Ongoing programs

Ongoing programs are to maintain and improve our digital marketplace for home health equipment (HHE) through activities that include: - Maintaining AssistList.ca and implementing new website features - Increasing awareness of and educating the community about AssistList - Encouraging and improving the process for accessing information and connecting Buyers/Sellers on AssistList - Facilitating exchanges by increasing the amount and variety of HHE available on AssistList through canvassing organizations including new equipment types and servicing new regions in Metro Vancouver - Improving acces Show more

Ongoing programs are to maintain and improve our digital marketplace for home health equipment (HHE) through activities that include: - Maintaining AssistList.ca and implementing new website features - Increasing awareness of and educating the community about AssistList - Encouraging and improving the process for accessing information and connecting Buyers/Sellers on AssistList - Facilitating exchanges by increasing the amount and variety of HHE available on AssistList through canvassing organizations including new equipment types and servicing new regions in Metro Vancouver - Improving accessibility and reducing barriers for Buyers and Sellers by maintaining existing partnerships and developing new partnerships with community organizations such as non-profits and government organizations Our website recorded that over 490 previously-owned items on AssistList were able to find new homes in 2024 improving the quality of life for many in need of affordable home health equipment (19% growth from 2023). Positive feedback and uplifting stories from the community further motivate us to strive for excellence in user experience and service delivery. (AssistList does not charge any fees or take any proceeds from the sale/purchase of HHE the exchange and transactions as part of the sale/purchase are coordinated by the Buyer and Seller.) In 2024 50 volunteers contributed in areas including Design Web Development Community Development Digital Marketing Customer Support and People & Culture.
