Peer Support + Skills Groups - Our Peer Support + Skills Groups are monthly drop-in sessions available online and currently in-person in Langley BC. This group is for anyone who is seeking help in their role as a caregiver or family member of someone struggling with mental health challenges. Peer Support + Skills Groups - Our Peer Support + Skills Groups are monthly drop-in sessions available online and currently in-person in Langley BC. This group is for anyone who is seeking help in their role as a caregiver or family member of someone struggling with mental health challenges. Every session 12-20 people meet to share stories validate each other’s experiences and hone practical skills they can use in their day-to-day lives. While no referral or diagnosis is required to participate in our Peer Support + Skills Groups most participants have a family member that lives with with Borderline Personality Disorder Bipolar Disorder Schizophrenia ADHD depression anxiety psychosis substance use suicidal ideation or another significant life-altering diagnoses. Essential Skills Development - Our Essential Skills program provides an introduction to evidence-based skills to help people communicate more effectively with a person living with significant mental health challenges. This program is hosted by facilitators with lived and living experience and is based on Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT). The teaching is practical accessible to anyone and equips participants with tools that can be put into action immediately and are based on the concept of 'responding' rather than 'reacting' in an effective way Mindfulness Program - This free program is designed to develop a beginner's mindfulness practice and shares the benefits of living in the moment without judgment. Mindfulness is a stress reduction technique capable of improving mental and physical wellness and is a key concept in our Essential Skills Program. Facilitators deliver education techniques and practical exercises through online 90-minute weekly sessions or via two-part in-person workshops. This particular skill is our anchor skill for all our other groups and programs.

Corporate Workshops - At the heart of every organization there is a team of individuals who have different experiences with mental health and various emotional needs. Recognizing and understanding these similarities and differences is sometimes all it takes for a company to reach that next level of success and sustainability. Our corporate workshops give participants the opportunity to gain a basic understanding of essential emotional wellness skills to help them thrive both inside and outside of the workplace.
