Ongoing programs
Shekinah continued it's community support housing for men coming out of addictions. The charity also hosted meetings 5 days per week to teach the tenants faith and worship to keep them grounded in their faith as well as providing the 12-step program to continue developing them and providing them with tools and life skills to equip them for life and to help them grow and mature as individuals. Shekinah continued it's community support housing for men coming out of addictions. The charity also hosted meetings 5 days per week to teach the tenants faith and worship to keep them grounded in their faith as well as providing the 12-step program to continue developing them and providing them with tools and life skills to equip them for life and to help them grow and mature as individuals. Shekinah has a sober living home for ladies looking for support and community. These women also participate in the 12-step program and the chapel services Shekinah holds on a daily basis. Volunteers join on various days for upkeep and repairs on the buildings meal planning and provision and preparation of the food. Qualified individuals teach the tenants faith the 12-step program and worship. Volunteers also help with Sunday evening services to engage the community with the clients and the clients with folks from the community. Hope rallies were held through-out the year in different areas to engage with those struggling with addictions - to see there is hope and to engage with the communities to provide an understanding of the needs. Shekinah continued to receive funds to carry out its activities as well as make some donations to qualifying donees with similar goals.
