Last reported: F2024 filing · period ending 2024-12-31

This filing's expense lines don't reconcile: program spending (line 5000) plus overhead (5010 + 5020) adds up to more than total spending (4950). Cents-to-cause and overhead can't both be right, and the filing doesn't say which — so this charity is left out of ranked search results for this filing year. We show both figures exactly as filed; read them together with this in mind, or check the public record ↗.

As a newly established charity we faced significant challenges in our first year period that is from January 1 to December 31 2024. Several external factors --including inflation increased tariffs and a general decline in charitable giving --contributed to a difficult fundraising environment. These factors impacted both public interest and the financial capacity of potential donors resulting in a lack of revenue generation for the period. Despite these challenges we have remained committed to advancing our mission and laying the groundwork for future success. We proactively conducted outreach to various potential supporters. This included formal letters sent to major philanthropic and global health organizations such as the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation the World Health Organization and all major banks in Canada among others. These organizations all share an interest in Telemedicine and Telehealth initiative around the world especially in Africa which aligns with our charity's cause. We followed up multiple times after these submissions and while we have not yet received positive responses we are still hopeful and persistent in our efforts. We understand that building trust and visibility takes time especially during a charity's initial phase. In addition to these outreach efforts we are now implementing a grassroots campaign strategy to promote monthly micro-donations We believe this sustainable approach will reduce reliance on large one-time donations and help us grow a strong and loyal donor base. While our first fiscal year presented substantial challenges it was also a critical period of learning and foundation-building. We remain optimistic that the efforts and strategic planning we undertook in 2024 will lead to a successful and impactful 2025 and beyond.
