Operate a volunteer recruitment for nonprofit organizations in Langley (City and Townships). Operate a cards for Seniors Program where we distribute a variety of postcards to students to write messages and then redistribute to Langley seniors in senior facilities senior community groups and individuals (and surrounding areas if there are extra cards). Promote volunteerism at community events Hold a volunteer fair once a year Snow Angel Program - operate a trial program to help seniors and people with disabilities have their sidewalks cleared by volunteers. We did a soft launch last year but official launch was September 2023. Unfortunately the program was cancelled in April of 2024 due to unexpected high costs and lack of funding
