NASRUL-LAHI-L-FATIH SOCIETY PEEL REGION (NASFAT PEEL REGION)

• Holding meeting/prayer sessions every Sunday between 11am and 2pm. • Provision of prepared meals on a weekly basis throughout the month of Ramadan for the people in the Shelters in the community to make fasting easy and conducive for them (Saturdays only). This was started in the year 2018 and continues till date. • Distribution of non-perishable items to the needy such as the newly arrived migrants and existing Canadian residents • Publicising the existence of the society in the locality with distributions of flyers indicating the venue of the society’s weekly meetings and the program of weekly activities among other things. • Responded to COVID-19 pandemic by reaching out to those affected with reduced income due to the pandemic situation and appreciated the front-line workers with provision of pizza lunch in the heat of the pandemic. • Organisation of children Arabic training classes on Sundays using the acceptable Islamic book in Ontario for beginners 'Ahsanul Qawaid' • Holding yearly social events such as family picnic in Summertime • Conducting Eid prayers and celebrating Muslim festivals (Eid-el-Fitri and Eid-el-Adha) to foster community building Conducting daily and weekly prayers
