A Strategic Planning Session is scheduled for January 2025 to determine Cycle 16's programs going forward since Cycle 16 is no longer responsible for the planning and construction of the trail. MoTI (Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure) received a BC Government grant of 9.8 million to plan build and own the trail. Transition plans are still underway.
