Tamar’s vineyard ministry currently hosts a one-hour worship service every Sunday morning at Meeting Room 1 South Oshawa Community Centre from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. The Worship service involved singing praying and reading from the Bible. This enables members and non-members to be led into a rich and growing relationship with Jesus as they are uplifted encouraged and shown their hope in Christ Jesus through the Word of God. This is facilitated by a volunteer pastor and at no charge. As we grew in number the Worship service was divided into 4 groups: Group 1 focused on the Children which is called the JESUS AND ME KIDS CORNER (J.A.M). Group 2 focused on the Youths which is called the LIGHTHOUSE YOUTHS FOR JESUS. Group 3 focused on the Women which is called the DEBORAH’S CORNER Group 4 focused on the Men which is called the PILLARS. Each group are facilitated by volunteer pastors and the Worship service was offered to anyone in the community at no charge. There was no limit to attendance as we continued our hope to partner with our Lord Jesus Christ to give back to the Christian community and to create an environment where people are encouraged as well as equipped to pursue intimacy with God. The worship service was advertised throughout the community via social media word of mouth and website. We also host a one-hour Prayer meeting and Fellowship every Wednesday evening. The Prayer meeting is a great way to connect with God and share thoughts and prayers with others it also involves Bible studies that can help the community learn more about God and His teachings. The Fellowship involved getting to know other Church members. This was facilitated by the one of our volunteer pastors. There also was no limit to attendance and it was advertised throughout the community. We also carried out community outreach and evangelism every second and fourth Saturday of the month. This involves telling people about the Salvation from our Lord Jesus. We also carried out an Easter program during the 3 day Easter weekend which involved Evangelism Prayer Worship and Praise.
