Ongoing programs
Following our mandate of care we worked towards improving the safety and well-being of seniors by combating isolation loneliness and increasing knowledge about community programs. We achieved this by providing regularized information in safe gatherings where individuals were able express their concerns with confidence. The long-term goal is sustainability of information to seniors through Flo’s Seniors and other community and not-for-profit organizations. Following our mandate of care we worked towards improving the safety and well-being of seniors by combating isolation loneliness and increasing knowledge about community programs. We achieved this by providing regularized information in safe gatherings where individuals were able express their concerns with confidence. The long-term goal is sustainability of information to seniors through Flo’s Seniors and other community and not-for-profit organizations. With assistance from grants and partnerships Flo’s has been able to provide exercise classes from: Bronson Rise City of Ottawa Christmas Service: With the Assistance from Red Cross and City of Ottawa we were able to provide food hampers and grocery gift cards for more than 50 seniors and families in the community Information Session: We have partnered with Bronson Safe Open Jaku Konbit Ottawa Church of God Rocena Kidney Foundation African Caribbean Canadian and others to host various types of information sessions for the community. Christmas raffle in conjunction with Rhythm Movements Community Association: This raffle enabled us to provide food and clothing to seniors and family members in need.

Bread delivery program: Flo's Seniors has partnered with Lion's Heart with to provide bi-weekly delivery of bread to seniors in need. Transportation service: We are now able to provide a transportation service to our clientele for basic appointments doctors visit and some errands.
