CORNERSTONE OROMO CHRISTIANS MISSION CENTRE OF CALGARY

We Cornerstone OCMC conduct regular public worship services and prayer gatherings in accordance with the tenets of the Christian faith. We Cornerstone OCMC offer structured religious education for all age groups including Sunday School and youth discipleship programs Weekly adult Bible studies Men’s and women’s fellowship events focused on spiritual growth and community building and promote Christian values observances and cultural expressions through seasonal celebrations special services and outreach events. We Cornerstone OCMC provide compassionate pastoral care to individuals and families experiencing illness crisis bereavement or other personal challenges. We Cornerstone OCMC offer hospital and home visits spiritual counselling and prayer support ensuring confidentiality and collaboration with healthcare professionals where appropriate. We Cornerstone OCMC equip pastoral care volunteers through ongoing training supervision and spiritual development to maintain high standards of care and professionalism. We Cornerstone OCMC hold a weekly service for the entire congregation and visitors. Believers pray worship and listen to the word of God so they become strong and rooted in Christian Faith. We Cornerstone OCMC conduct a weekly children's ministry where children aged 5-12 attend Sunday school play and share snacks. We Cornerstone OCMC facilitate and engage in supporting youth & adult Choir team gatherings weekly where the youth and adult members of Choir join the group make a network pray worship read the word of God and support one another with any personal matters. We Cornerstone OCMC host once a year a Church day trip for the entire congregation arrange transportation such as a coach bus feed everyone facilitate activities on the trip site such as swimming competition games for kids and adults volleyball running competition soccer game and other games as they are appropriate. We Cornerstone OCMC collaborate with EMCC (Evangelical Missionary Church of Canada) and other partners to sponsor and resettle refugees providing essential resources and housing support Orientation and integration support and ongoing pastoral and community care to promote dignity resilience and belonging.
