Our organization is providing support and encouragement to families and persons with developmental disabilities by offering programs training and workshops that will assist individuals in attending school achieving meaningful employment participating in recreational activities and gaining independence within their communities. The transition from the Pandemic and the ongoing societal struggles has created stress and isolation for most families and persons with developmental disabilities. In order to reach out to families and individuals we offered workshops opportunities to share through coffee meetings additional information through our website and reach out by meeting with families in person as well as through zoom phone and social media. Over 1 200 hours was spent talking to supporting and preparing families and individuals with developmental disabilities.

New programs

We are offering small groups of families and individuals with developmental disabilities an opportunity to get together on a regular basis with our support. These sessions offer the participants an opportunity to hear what was successful with other families as well as providing a safe place to talk about their fears and dreams. Family caregivers are exhausted and need that safe place to be heard. This is our second and very successful year.
