The charity provides masses and services for the community including as a venue for weddings christenings baptisms and funerals. These services are provided on an as needed basis. There are nominal fees charged for these services and it is customary for families to make donations to our charity when availing themselves of the services. Any monies donated to our onsite donation box by participants are also held by our charity. 3. Our charity also operates the local cemetery as part of our infrastructure and mandate. The overall upkeep and maintenance of the plots and general cemetery grounds is a provided service. An annual service during summers is held at the cemetery and donations at this service are also a source of revenue . 4. The Sacred Heart Church Charity also avails of community fundraiser including socials and card parties as a source of revenue. These events are held on a monthly basis and all proceeds are held by the charity. 5. The church which is the focal point of the activity for our charitable work is an aging building. It is therefore our intention to create a capitol works fund to support maintenance and repair efforts to the existing infrastructure. It is our intention to increase our funding appeals to help with these projects. To support these services it is our intention to utilize the above-mentioned funding efforts as well as a general appeal to the citizenry.
