Ongoing programs
Collection During the summer 2023 we received 50 new item contributions bringing the collection to over 560 items. In the fall we initiated a partnership with the University of Guelph Day Care and Learning Centre for our first joint exhibition. In December we initiated a research project in partnership with the Office of Community Engagement at McMaster University. Conservation Our digital items are hosted on our own host server and we handle the metadata through Archeion. Collection During the summer 2023 we received 50 new item contributions bringing the collection to over 560 items. In the fall we initiated a partnership with the University of Guelph Day Care and Learning Centre for our first joint exhibition. In December we initiated a research project in partnership with the Office of Community Engagement at McMaster University. Conservation Our digital items are hosted on our own host server and we handle the metadata through Archeion. Education Our e-newsletter is published quarterly and now reaches about 1 500 subscribers. Our web site received over 400 000 hits 15 000 unique visitors. Our social media following remains strong except for our YouTube channel which suffered with no additional contents. Governance We online platforms in an effort to recruit new board members and committee members. It has been and remain a challenge. We intend to publish available positions on an ongoing basis. At the beginning of 2024 we released our first corporate sponsorship package with the help of Chezuba.
