Forty different species of birds were recorded. - Organized and ran an I-Naturalist session video call with our local community member expert. Members were able to learn about how to use and appreciate the I-Naturalist website and community. - Entered into a purchase agreement with the land owner of 673 chemin Blackburn a local property that came for sale consisting of 17.5 of vacant land in a very densely populated area of our domain. The purchase was conditional on raising the funds obtaining a favorable land assessment and board approval. - Obtained a land assessment of this property to determine if the price of the property was appropriate for the assessment of the property. - Organized a fundraising campaign to raise pledges for purchase of this property. - Entered into a five year lease agreement with a large local landowner to protect and have access to 215 acres in our domain. Members will be able to walk hike snowshoe and cross country ski on the property as well participate in some of our planned environmental educational events. - Provided support for two other like-minded conservation organizations who are just starting up.
