One Body Village

Our ongoing programs which are carried on outside of Canada via intermediary agreements with qualified non-profit organizations/ agencies benefit high-risk and sexually abused and exploited children under the age of 18 in Southeast Asia. These programs are: a) Shelter & Basic Needs (including food water personal hygiene supplies) b) Medical/Rehabilitation (including routine health check ups dental care emergency medical care and psychological counseling) c) Vocational Training (i.e. facilitating access to vocational training provided by other NGOs in Southeast Asia) d) Prevention Program (i.e. education and awareness workshops about sexual abuse & exploitation delivered to children and families in high-risk regions of Southeast Asia) e) Awareness and Public Education (i.e. raising awareness of child sexual exploitation through social media hosted events and our annual International Volunteer Trip). We expanded our services to Malaysia as of March 1 2023 via an intermediary agreement with a local agent. The charitable activities include 1) identify child victims of sexual exploitation through local partners/ agents 2) repatriate child victims of Vietnamese and Cambodian ethnicity to their home country 3) provide shelter education medical care psychological counseling vocational training to child survivors through One Body Village's existing programs in Vietnam and Cambodia 4) refer child victims/ survivors to other agencies/ NGOs as needed if One Body Village is unable to provide specific services to the child.
