What it does — in its own words

Ongoing programs

The Arabic Alliance of Canada continues to fulfill their purpose of existence through building friendships with immigrant families. We once again hosted a Christmas celebration with many in attendance. We facilitate having immigrants come together with Canadian families and individuals to better understand the language and culture of Saskatchewan. Home visits allowed these families to learn more about the activities a regular Canadian resident would do from day to day. At times due to donor support we were able to give gifts to these families including gift cards food treats and toys for children and on occasion furniture and household items. Weekly religious services and special meetings continued including teaching the tenets of the Christian faith. Our own contractors led these services/meetings with others who volunteered in English and Arabic. Weekly Bible teaching was provided on-line through Facebook to an audience in Canada and worldwide (in particular the middle-east). The ministry was also supportive by phone and on-line. One of our contractors made trips to other Canadian cities to teach and build friendships with other Arabic speaking immigrants. He also made a mission's trip to Egypt and South Sudan. Our other contractor made a mission's trip to Egypt.

New programs

International outreach: One of our contractors had numerous meetings on ZOOM with Bible teaching to audiences in Canada and around the world.
