Story to Action – Completion of the 3rd and commencement of the 4th edition of this ongoing program with 3 Canadian documentary films identified for training and mentoring of the filmmaking teams for the films selected. Focus is on creating strategies building partnerships and organizing screenings designed to expand audience understanding of the social and environmental issues featured in their films. The Pod – Impact producer training program offering participants the opportunity to build skills and gain practical experience on active projects to learn the power and importance of impact campaigns for documentary films. Impact Mentorship – Coaching providing critical help for documentaries in development by underrepresented creators focused on better positioning the films and filmmakers for impact upon completion of their projects. Impact Campaigns – Trained impact producers serve a specific documentary film by executing the strategy for awareness building education and networking under the direction of the Impact Director. Seminars & Workshops – Seminars and webinars are hosted in order to nurture a healthy ecosystem within the impact media sector aimed at educating newcomers investing in past participants and building trust within the wider network.
