The House Church Kelowna

The House is more than a community centre—it's a vibrant faith-based third space where people from all walks of life come to connect grow and find belonging. Each week we host a variety of gatherings and spiritual services designed to foster meaningful connection encourage personal growth and support those on their journey of faith—whether they're lifelong believers or just beginning to ask life's big questions. At the heart of our mission is a deep commitment to serve and empower the next generation. Through mentorship creative programs and intentional community we focus on equipping young people to thrive. Our Student Lounge and Arts Venue becomes a 'home away from home' during the academic year—a safe welcoming space for post-secondary students to rest create and connect. With homemade meals a cozy drop-in café study spaces free laundry and a university shuttle we make everyday life a little easier and a lot more supportive. Beyond our programs The House is a lifeline for those in crisis. We offer an on-site food bank and collaborate with trusted partners to provide counselling crisis intervention spiritual care and tools for personal development. At The House everyone is welcome everyone matters and everyone has a place to belong.

2024 was a year of powerful momentum marked by growth deepened impact and bold new steps forward. One of the most exciting developments was the expansion of our Youth Program into two distinct community outreach sites. These weekly gatherings offered local kids not only a nourishing meal but a vital sense of connection and belonging—planting seeds of hope and trust in neighborhoods that need it most. This outreach directly fueled the growth of our internal Youth and HYPE (House Youth Pre-Teen) ministries bringing new energy and wider reach to the heart of our mission: investing in the next generation. In another milestone we hosted our first-ever Church Retreat—a transformative weekend where our church family came together to rest reconnect and deepen our relationships with one another and with Jesus. The impact of this shared experience continues to ripple through our community. Looking ahead we’ve taken significant steps toward expanding our facility—laying the groundwork for a future where our ministries can grow sustainably and serve generations to come with greater capacity and creativity. 2024 wasn’t just a year of growth—it was a year of becoming. And we believe the best is yet to come.
