Ongoing Ministry Services - Open to all to promote religion through our community Programs to help the welfare and charity of less fortunate; Thanksgiving Turkey Drive and Dinner of Hope These programs are conducted annually in October and December respectively whereby we solicit funds from the members within our ministry and organizations within the community to sponsor the event. The Thanksgiving Turkey Drive (TTD) consists of distributing 25-30 food baskets on a first-come-first-serve basis to families within the community that liaise with us and express they are experiencing food insecurity/in need. Our Dinner of Hope is similar to that of the Thanksgiving Turkey Dive with the exception whereby individuals are invited to have a prepared sit-down dinner with the opportunity to network and connect with others within their community. Hope Shoppe This is a grocery store program offered whereby we allow members from the community to shop for items they need donated to us via Second Harvest and other organizations. Shoppers are invited to make a donation to shop for available items within the shop to help absorb transportation and other subsidiary costs resulting from the pick-up of donated items. Missions Trips These are short-term voluntary services by individuals who would commit to support those in need locally. Members within the ministry are solicited for donations in support of the ministry initiatives.
