Ongoing programs The Muslim Chaplaincy of Toronto engages youth by providing an inclusive space for them to foster a meaningful Muslim identity enriched and supported by quality educational and counselling services. The Chaplaincy strives to make people feel welcomed and loved to help them develop a sense of confidence and sustainability in their faith and to equip them with the tools they need to excel as positive contributors. Recently we expanded our counselling services by offering them both virtually and in-person. We also expanded our services to all Ontario university students who can book one-on-one counselling services with our licensed Chaplains virtually for FREE at no cost both in-person or online. We also established the Good Life and Soulfood weekly free classes for students to feel as part of the community while educating them on various topics relevant to spiritual care and religious education.

New programs

Last year we continued to expand our campus presence by hosting more events for the student community at UofT and UTSC often times these events were organized in collaboration with local student clubs. We hosted a very successful Ramadan fundraiser and co-organized several events for Black History Month Islamic History Month mental health awareness and community socials throughout the year.
