WORK IN CONJUNCTION WITH FOOD BANKS BC AND CANADA TO PICK AND STORE FOOD DONATIONS AND SUPPLIES FOR THE SOLE PURPOSE OF DISTRIBUTION TO THE NEEDY. MAJOR COMMUNITY FUNDRAISER ARE FILL THE CUPBOARD EVENTS WITH ISLAND SAVINGS STUFF THE TRUCK FOOD DRIVE WITH COWICHAN VALLEY FOOD BASKET AND SUNFM FOOD RECOVERY PROGRAM TO CUT DOWN ON WASTED FOOD COMMUNITY GARDEN PLANT A ROW FOR THE FOOD BANK GROCER CARD PROGRAM WITH TIMES COLONIST OUR ON GOING BOTTLE DRIVE FUNDRAISER IN THE COMMUNITY

AFTER MOVING TO OUR NEW LOCATION DURING THIS PHYSICAL YEAR WE HAVE BEEN ABEL TO OFFER MORE SERVICES WHERE WE PROVIDE FOOD FOR THE SOUP AND SANDWHICHES AND HEALTHY VEGETABLE MEAL OPTIONS AND EXTRA BREAD COLLECTION TO THOSE IN NEED IN OUR COMMUNITY. WORKING WITH THE KRAKEN HOCKEY TEAM THE COWICHAN LAKE 1ST SCOUTS GROUP THE LAKE COWICHAN CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP CHURCH COWICHAN LAKE HIGH SCHOOL PALSSON ELEMENTARY AND THE COWICHAN LAKE DISTRICT SENIORS ASSOCIATION.
