A new pastor was hired in 2023 and continues to be employed by the ConneXion. The church is also active in running a refugee support network. The network consists entirely of volunteers. They help mostly Syrian (but lately also Ukranian) families with visa application various paperwork access to english courses or settling into a home and workplace once in Canada. The ConneXion manages the finances in a separate fund but the refugee support network is not exclusively run by members of the ConneXion. The church is also supporting other causes which change and are decided on every month. This could range from an individual that needs help to another charity in the area. Examples are helping a foster mom after a difficult move or provide lunch for health care workers as a thank you for their work in our community.

New programs

The new pastor is very musical and has started a new choir project. Since having a pastor again ConneXion has reintroduced a children's ministry to Sunday services. The new pastor is also offering music lessons monthly.
