THE OVERALL AIM OF THIS CHARITY IS TO INCREASE THE NUMBER OF INDIGENOUS HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATES IN THE NEULAND SETTLEMENT REGION IN THE CHACO OF PARAGUAY BY MAKING SCHOLARSHIPS AND BURSARY'S AVAILABLE TO QUALIFIED STUDENTS. FUND RAISING WITHIN CANADA THE USA GERMANY AS WELL AS OTHER COUNTRIES IS ONGOING THROUGHOUT THE YEAR USING WORD-OF-MOUTH PHONE CALLS EMAILS AND OUR WEBSITE.
New programs
AN AGREEMENT OF UNDERSTANDING WAS SIGNED ON DECEMBER 17 2024 WITH ASCIM (CENTRAL CHACO COOPERATIN SERVICES ASSOCIATION INDIGENOUS MENNONITES) IN YALVE SANGA BOQUERON PARAGUAY. THIS AGREEMENT WILL ALLOW OUR CANADIAN SCHOLARSHIP/BURSARY PROGRAM (SBISNSRCP) TO TRANSFER FUNDS THAT WILL PROVIDE AN ONGOING SUPPORT FOR OUR STUDENTS IN THE YEARS TO COME. THE FUND TRANSFERS WILL OCCUR IN 2025 WHEN THE AGREEMENT HAS BEEN FINALIZED. OUR PLAN BY THE END OF 2025 IS TO TRANSFER ALL REMAINING FUNDS TO ASCIM IN 2025 AND THEN CLOSE OUR CHARITY (SBISNSRCP).
