The Deanery is entrusted with the provision of services of the Roman Catholic Church to the faithful attached to the Ordinariate of the Chair of Saint Peter its parishes quasi-parishes communities and missions in Canada. Its mission as a Head Body involved oversight of all communities attached to the Deanery. In particular this involves: establishing maintaining and operating new parishes quasi-parishes communities and missions throughout Canada to serve the Catholic community; preaching teaching and manifesting the tenets doctrines observances and practices of the Roman Catholic faith and the particular norms of the Personal Ordinariate of the Chair of Saint Peter; providing for religious education of the Catholic faith community through religious services courses retreats and seminars; dissemination of Catholic services and doctrine using all types of media including print and broadcast media; assisting in the operation of Catholic seminaries and colleges entrusted with the training of clergy deacons and laity; working with and assisting other Catholic organizations including religious orders and social agencies; responding to and assisting efforts in addressing disaster relief and social crises; providing charitable assistance to those in need in accordance with the tenets of the Roman Catholic faith.
