THE TORONTO COMMUNITY CRISIS RESPONSE IS BEING EXPANDED TO COVER THE WHOLE OF SCARBOROUGH. AS A RESULT WE ARE ESTABLISHING A SECOND OFFICE BASE IN SOUTH SCARBOROUGH. WE HAVE RECEIVED FUNDING FROM ONTARIO HEALTH TO IMPLEMENT AN AFROCENTRIC-INTERPROFESSIONAL CARE TEAM IN PARTNERSHIP WITH TWO OTHER CHCS - REXDALE CHC AND BLACK CREEK CHC. WE HAVE ALSO RECEIVED FUNDING FROM THE MINISTRY OF CANADIAN HERITAGE TO PRODUCE THREE DOCUMENTARIES ON THE EXPERIENCE OF BLACK COMMUNITIES IN THE EDUCATION CRIMINAL JUSTICE AND HEALTH CARE SECTORS.
