(b) To encourage non-motorized outdoor activity (e.g. playing walking hiking running and cycling) and to promote healthy living for individuals and collectively on a community level. (c) To preserve natural ecosystems for physical outdoor activity nurturing biodiversity native plants and wildlife corridors. (d) To educate citizens regarding the value of both natural ecosystems and structured city park green spaces in the maintenance of physical mental and community health. (e) To foster participation by holding community events throughout the year that encourage local citizens to practically improve public park space with activities such as trail building and rejuvenating existing parks. (f) To collaborate with other societies and organizations forming partnerships to achieve the goals listed above.
