FFC CONSIDERS ITSELF FORTUNATE AND PRIDES ITSELF ON BUILDING GOOD RELATIONS WITH OUR SERVICE PROVIDERS GROWING A NETWORK WITH OTHER LOCAL ANIMAL RESCUES TO SHARE KNOWLEDGE AND SUPPLIES. FUND RAISING CONTINUES TO BE TOP OF MIND. THE SOCIAL ENVIRONMENT IS CHANGING AND MORE PEOPLE ARE WORKING WITH A LIMITED BUDGET SO EVEN LOW PRICES AT A GARAGE SALE ARE NOT ATTRACTING CROWDS. WE DO HAVE A SHORTAGE OF FOSTER FAMILIES. THIS YEAR WE HAVE TAKEN IN KITTENS AS YOUNG AS 3 DAYS OLD. THE KITTEN MILK REPLACER IS AN EXPENSIVE COMMODITY AND FRAGILE ORPHANS REQUIRE IN HOME ATTENTION. KITTENS ARE VERY DEMANDING OF TIME SPACE AND ENERGY. EARLY INPUT OF FUNDS FOR VACCINATIONS EYE CARE AND DEWORMING IS BARELY COMPENSATED BY ADOPTION FEES.
