We provided ongoing financial support for - ACC Children's Home that provides a home for children who are orphaned or whose parents cannot afford to raise them - ACC Young Women's Hostel that provides a home for young women 18-22 who otherwise would be on the street and easy prey for the sex trade - ACC education grants which allow children to go to school who otherwise would not be able to get an education - Poverty relief on an as-needed basis Most of this support came from individual sponsors who support AAN with regular monthly donations. Two members of AAN visited Nepal in May 2024 to meet with ACC and review their programs and activities They also met with people who were being helped by the ACC programs funded by AAN. At the recommendation of the CRA we changed our charity's purposes and activities to explicitly include the advancement of education. We also updated our By-Law to conform with the new Ontario Not For Profit Corporations Act. We use regular email newsletters to keep our donors informed of the activities of the charity.
