Precious Paws provides safe housing sanctuary medical care behavioural assessments training and other services that may be required to all animals accepted into our rescue for the life of the animal or until that animal has been adopted into a permanent home. Precious Paws Rescue Inc provides rescue to any domestic animals due to homelessness or abuse regardless of age breed or location through a network of volunteer foster homes. Precious Paws provides safe housing sanctuary medical care behavioural assessments training and other services that may be required to all animals accepted into our rescue for the life of the animal or until that animal has been adopted into a permanent home. Precious Paws seeks assesses and approves permanent adoptive homes for rescued animals. Precious Paws is 100% volunteer based with 150 active volunteers including about 100 approved foster homes. Precious Paws continuously cares for 20-25 dogs in foster homes throughout the year. Precious Paws also provides support for owned animals through emergency vetting and providing food/supplies to families in need of assistance in an effort to keep more animals out of rescue. Precious Paws Rescue Inc also funds organizes and participates in veterinary clinics to northern and First Nation communities to provide free veterinary spay and neuter services to remote communities not regularly serviced by veterinarians.
