OUR PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOPS THIS FISCAL YEAR HELPED OVER 100 TEACHERS GAIN CONFIDENCE IN THEORETICAL AND PRACTICAL APPROACHES TO ECO-SOCIAL EDUCATION. WE DELIVERED 152 YOUTH WORKSHOPS WITH OVER 2300 YOUTH ON TOPICS SUCH AS CLIMATE ACTION CLIMATE EMOTIONS FRESHWATER POLLUTION AND WATER JUSTICE. WE MENTORED FOUR YOUTH TEAMS TO PLAN AND IMPLEMENT MEANINGFUL CLIMATE JUSTICE PROJECTS IN THEIR COMMUNITIES. IN ADDITION TO THESE YOUTH-FOCUSED PROGRAMS WE CONDUCT COMMUNITY EDUCATION AND ENGAGEMENT PROGRAMS FOCUSED ON ENVIRONMENTAL AND CLIMATE ACTION BY PROVIDING RESOURCES AND DELIVERING WORKSHOPS.

WE DEVELOPED A NEW WORKSHOP CALLED RECONNECTING: IMAGINATION NATURE GRATITDUE. THIS WORKSHOP IS IN RESPONSE TO YOUTH FEELING DISCONNECTED FROM NATURE. YOUTH WILL EXPLORE AN OUTDOOR SPACE CULTIVATE JOY PRACTICE GRATITUDE AND IMAGINE A JUST AND SUSTAINABLE FUTURE.
