Ongoing programs
The FAM Network facilitates the temporary fostering of animals owned by people who are fleeing domestic violence and suffering from mental illness. Our FAM Network program includes intaking of fostered animals ensuring the animals are assessed and treated as required by veterinarians before foster placement placing the animals in one of our volunteer foster homes and/or boarding facilities ensuring the animals are cared for during their foster stay (paying for veterinary bills food supplies etc) and the eventual exit of our program back to the animals' owners. The FAM Network facilitates the temporary fostering of animals owned by people who are fleeing domestic violence and suffering from mental illness. We have a number of volunteers who help in the following ways: operation of The FAM Network (President Vice-President Treasurer bookkeeper foster coordinators marketing volunteer coordinators) foster homes and people who volunteer to represent The FAM Network at industry related events (Pet Expos Galas etc.).
