The Society continued to develop its strategic programming to provide supportive housing to veterans and first responders and immediate families who must travel extended distances to attend specialist medical appointments in Halifax regional Municipality. Also have provided funding in way of logistic support to several veteran families who were in severe financial stress. The Society continues to maintain an apartment for veterans first responders and their families. As demand grows the Society plans to acquire additional apartments and seek corporate and private contributions (funding and/or furniture accessories in kind) to equip these facilities.

New programs

No new programs in the yea. Focusing on getting the Society running at full capacity. COVID-19 in the 2020 and 2021 diminished our abilities to hold events and fundraise effectively therefore lost some awareness of the Society as our main event (gala) was cancelled fouryears in a row. Gaining some traction again and continuing to focus on the Society's brand awareness and channeling more awareness of the apartment. Apartment back to full utilization and in talks to getting more apartments with landlords and developers.
