FOR SEVERAL YEARS WITH THE USE OF VOLUNTEERS WE HAVE FOCUSED ON EDUCATION AND RELIEF OF POVERTY. GLOBAL TEACHING MINISTRIES IS ACTIVE IN FEEDING HOMELESS CHILDREN - HELPING IN AREAS OF STARVATION MALNUTRITION & MEDICAL PROBLEMS WITH THE DISTRIBUTION OF FOOD BLANKETS TENTS SLEEPING BAGS & CLOTHES. WE ARE ALSO INVOLVED WITH OUR OUTREACH IN MINAMBA - ZAMBIA WITH AN EMPHASIS IN FEEDING STARVING CHILDREN AND PROVIDING SCHOOLING & EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES FOR THEM. THE CHARITY HAS MANY VOLUNTEERS THAT CONTRIBUTE THEIR TIME AND TALENTS TO THE MINISTRY. IN THIS PAST YEAR 10 VOLUNTEERS WENT TO MINIMBA CHILONGIA AND KANCHIBIYA IN ZAMBIA AND HELPED STUDENTS BY RUNNING A YOUTH AND DAY CAMP AND PROVIDED THEM WITH SCHOOL SUPPLIES AND FOOTWEAR; THEY ALSO ASSISTED IN BUILDING A STAFF HOUSE FOR A TEACHERS FAMILY THAT LIVED IN A TEMPORARY STICK AND MUD SHELTER.
