Activities in 2024 expanded with UWV programs continuing to be refined to focus on needs for youth coaching and mentoring for individual self-sufficiency building on the success of the ArtWorks program. Together with key partners such as The Ottawa Mission UWV expanded its youth coaching work to support the development of job skills interviewing skills and understanding of personal value. Youth were supported with introductions to potential employers as well as guidance on post-hiring employment best practices to grow their value to employers. In 2024 these activities enabled youth to secure permanent part-time employment developing self-confidence and a sustainable income base. These successes as well as the broader ArtWorks program continued to be promoted to grow community awareness for sustainable support.
