IN 2024 NPOWER CANADA ENROLLED 3 982 JOB SEEKERS FROM LOW-INCOME DIVERSE BACKGROUNDS INTO ITS PROGRAM REPRESENTING GROWTH IN ANNUAL ENROLLMENT FROM 3 462 UNIQUE INDIVIDUALS SERVED IN 2023. NEARLY 86% (3 415) OF ITS 2024 ENROLLEES GRADUATED FROM THE 15-WEEK TRAINING PORTION OF THE PROGRAM WITH 80% OF GRADUATES EMPLOYED OR PURSUING FURTHER EDUCATION WITHIN 6 MONTHS OF PROGRAM COMPLETION.

New programs

IN JULY 2024 NPOWER CANADA LAUNCHED A NEW SECURITY OPERATIONS ANALYST (SOA) PROGRAM AS PART OF ITS CORE WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT OFFERINGS. THE SOA PROGRAM RESPONDS TO THE GROWING DEMAND FOR PROFESSIONALS WHO CAN DETECT RESPOND TO AND MANAGE CYBERSECURITY THREATS IN REAL TIME. IN ADDITION TO TECHNICAL TRAINING THE PROGRAM INCLUDES PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT COMPONENTS TO STRENGTHEN WORKPLACE READINESS. IN 2024 134 JOB-SEEKERS ENROLLED IN THE SECURITY OPERATIONS ANALYST PROGRAM.
