WE OFFER BRIGHT LESSONS A PARENTING EDUCATION PROGRAM WHICH INCORPORATES THE EARN WHILE YOU LEARN CARE CLOSET PROGRAM ENABLING FAMILIES TO CHOOSE MATERIAL ITEMS THEY HAVE EARNED IN THEIR EDUCATION SUCH AS DIAPERS CLOTHING TOILETRIES ETC. THE COURSE WAS ADAPTED TO MEET COVID RESTRICTIONS BY USING PHONE CALLS AND FACE TIME CHATS. WE OFFER WEEKLY SUPPORT GROUPS SUCH AS MOM’S GROUP PARENTING AND LIFE SKILLS GROUP AND BIBLE STUDY. OUR VOLUNTEERS HELPED IN VARIOUS WAYS SUCH AS ORGANIZING THE CARE CLOSET CARING FOR CHILDREN WHILE THEIR PARENTS WERE IN GROUP SESSIONS AND AS CLIENT SUPPORT WORKERS SUPPORTING CLIENTS AS THEY DID PARENTING LESSONS.
