CareImpact builds strong connections across diverse sectors especially between churches and social service organizations (such as child welfare agencies and non-profits) to inspire collaboration and a shared vision for collective impact in local communities particularly with the most vulnerable. Their primary tool CarePortal is a care-sharing technology that enables service providers to collaborate with local churches to meet specific needs within the community. CareImpact equips communities and organizations through various capacity building initiatives including trauma care and community care workshops consultations with local networks the Journey With Care podcast and comprehensive community training resources.
New programs
In Fall 2024 CareImpact introduced a learning resource created to enlarge community capacity. This immersive training activity is called COPE (Cost of Poverty Experience). The training can be paired with a care-sharing opportunity which allows participants to connect first hand with those experiencing hardship in their own communities.
