Divine Renovation Ministry

Divine Renovation Ministry is a registered charity whose mission is to inspire connect and equip Catholic parishes to move from maintenance to mission helping them become centers of evangelization and discipleship. During the fiscal period the Ministry continued to deliver a range of charitable programs focused on parish renewal and leadership development: DR Coaching Programs: We offered ongoing coaching for parish priests and leadership teams through structured programs that were delivered in both group and one-to-one formats and served parishes and diocesan leaders. Events and Learning Opportunities: We hosted several national and international events including online webinars in-person conferences and parish open-house events. These gatherings fostered peer learning spiritual renewal and practical formation for parish leaders. Bishop Forums and Diocesan Training: We facilitated engagement with bishops and diocesan staff through curated sessions designed to explore pathways for parish renewal across regions. Regional Accompaniment: Our Regional Leads continued to accompany priests and parish teams through relationship-based coaching and consultation. In regions and languages where we do not yet have staff capacity Parish Renewal Guides—a developing volunteer innovation—helped deliver facilitated content such as the Genesis Compass. Resource Development: We created and distributed multimedia resources and strategic frameworks to equip parishes in their renewal journey. This included written guides videos and planning tools aligned with our mission.

In 2024 we expanded our work by launching new initiatives and events aligned with our long-term goal of supporting 33 000 missional parishes by 2033: Major Online Event – 'Re-Presenting Jesus': We hosted our largest event to date drawing over 8 000 participants worldwide. Speakers included Fr. James Mallon (Divine Renovation) Nicky and Pippa Gumbel (Alpha) and Jonathan Roumie (The Chosen). The event explored the person of Jesus and inspired parish leaders to renew their approach to evangelization. New Innovation Tools for Parish Renewal: We introduced and expanded several tools to support parishes in their renewal journey: Genesis Compass: A guided multi-month journey for pastors and their teams centered on seven foundational themes of parish renewal (e.g. Missional Prayer Casting Vision Evangelization Leadership). Facilitated by a Divine Renovation guide it serves as a clear roadmap to help launch a parish into mission. Missional Waypoint: A new diagnostic tool that helps parishes assess where they are on their path from maintenance to mission offering insight to inform their next steps. Moodle Learning Platform: We launched a new digital platform offering both self-led and cohort-based learning for parish leaders. Program Refinement and Multiplication Planning: We piloted and fine-tuned strategies to enhance the delivery and scalability of our coaching and accompaniment efforts. These developments are designed to support future expansion and to enable the multiplication of healthy mission-oriented parishes.
