THERE WERE OVER 100 PARTICIPANTS IN 2015. SOME PARTICIPANTS ONCE THEY FEEL CONFIDENT ENOUGH IN THEIR NEW SKILLS BECOME VOLUNTEERS TO DO FIELD WORK AS CITIZEN SCIENTISTS CONDUCTING SURVEYS FOR US. WE COLLABORATE AND SHARE KNOWLEDGE WITH OUR COMMUNITY GROUPS AND SIMILAR SCIENTIFIC SURVEYS IN OTHER CITIES IN CANADA AND NORTH AMERICA.
