The primary focus and main program area of Olympia Charitable Foundation is to support registered Canadian charities that meet the criteria as outlined in our objectives. Olympia Charitable Foundation raises maintains and distributes funds raised by the employees of our parent and subsidiary companies. The Foundation commits to provide 100% of the donations made by our employees as gifts to registered charities and grassroots organizations that have aligning intentions to our giving efforts and community commitment. Our primary areas of giving include: 1. Supporting vulnerable communities in Canada; 2. Supporting community groups with programs that focus on inclusion of persons with disabilities; 3. Supporting various organizations with a focus on animal welfare; 4. Access to sports for underprivileged children; 5. Access to resources and support for persons and families facing long term illness. We seek and receive requests (internal through email form submissions and external through our website https://www.olympiagives.com/) to deserving organizations that directly support the underlying goals and objectives of our Foundation. The board of directors' review and ratify the donations approved by the Charity and Gift Giving Committee.
