THEY ASSIST THE RCMP BC AMBULANCE SERVICE BC CORONERS SERVICE PARKS CANADA AND THE DEPT. OF NATIONAL DEFENCE IN EMERGENCY SITUATIONS SEARCH AND RESCUE OF MISSING PERSONS EVIDENCE SEARCH EMERGENCY EVACUATIONS BODY RECOVER AND FIRST AID OR AS OTHERWISE NEEDED. THE SOCIETY PROMOTES OUTDOOR SAFETY AND EDUCATION TO LOCAL COMMUNITY MEMBERS AND TO VISITORS IN THE AREA.
