The organization specializes in the development and delivery of multi-modal training using a trauma-informed lens that is focused on building resilient workforces and economies. Through its suite of programs the organization works with industry youth and equity deserving groups to support business development advance employability and leadership skills. Momentum Now! Since 2014 the Momentum Now! programs successful mixed model of combining cutting-edge employability skills and professional development training with work experience means that participants are learning hands-on and gaining training mentoring and coaching that is immediately applicable to the workplace while creating a pipeline that employers can rely upon to produce great talent. The program begins with an 8-week of pre-employment seminar that actively introduces participant to all 5 key skill-building areas of the professional development curriculum through group-based employability skills training followed by 24 weeks of paid meaningful work experience (earning minimum wage at 37.5 hours a week) in a cooperating workplace in their field of interest that participants help choose - all with the goal of transitioning successfully into ongoing employment. CDAP The Government of Canada (Innovation Science and Economic Development) has partnered with the organization and AstroLab Synergies to deliver Canada's Digital Adoption Program: Grow Your Business Online stream to small businesses in Manitoba. IntegrateIT was born out of a partnership between the organization and AstroLab Synergies united by the desire to support Manitoba’s small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to foster economic growth create employment and contribute to the resiliency of our communities. SMEs are crucial to Manitoba's economy and are challenged by an ever-changing world. SMEs need digital tools resources and opportunities to adapt and thrive. The goal at IntegrateIT is to provide timely digital solutions and effective collaboration with businesses to find an optimal path forward. WES Mariam Assefa IntegratED is an innovative demand led labour market program focused on training integrating and retaining the skills and talent of international students in the STEM fields overcoming barriers to employment prior to and after graduation while building the talent economy in Manitoba to meet the current and emerging needs of employers.
